In this online workshop you can learn from Iben Julie Schmidt how storytelling can be a useful tool to do research dissemination. You will be introduced to the concept of storytelling, and we will discuss how storytelling can be a useful tool in a research career.  

You will be introduced to different basic narrative structures, and tips and tricks to help you increase your impact when you: 

• Give talks 
• Write papers and applications 
• Present at meetings 
• Communicate on social media 
• Teach 

At this workshop you will get to create, practice, and present a story about your own research/project. 

The workshop takes place online on Teams November 3rd from 9-12.

Iben Julie Schmidt is the owner of the communication company Scientifica, specializing in communicating science and technology. Iben is an expert on strategic research communication and storytelling.
