Life Science Robotics is a well-known developer of innovative robotics solutions for the health sector. Their latest project, HERA®, is an advanced robot that can assist healthcare professionals performing ultrasound scans of pregnant women - and reduce the risk of work-related injuries. The project is the result of many years of research, and the company is now collaborating with the university library on preparations for a CE Certification of HERA®.
Staff at Life Science Robotics, many of whom are AAU graduates, have worked in close collaboration with the university for a long time. Hence it seems only natural - and indeed necessary - to expand the collaborative efforts to include information specialists from the university library.
Project manager Lasse Bindslev Lassen, another AAU graduate, explains: "I know the library from my days as a student. The library staff always assisted me with finding the best possible evidence for my projects. Today, as project manager, I do the same thing. I use and benefit from their expertise to ensure that HERA® meets the highest standards".
